My 40+ journey at Thousand Waves has not been alone. During this time of nurturing and growth I have met and transformed with many others in my art that have and will be relationships that I will take with me through my lifetime. Students that started as young children are now my teachers!! What a fulfilling process to be part of. A mutual admiration of our generations.
Thousand Waves Martial Arts & Self-Defense Center, NFP is a not-for-profit organization with a mission to foster fitness, healing, empowerment and peacemaking. Our not-for-profit work includes offering scholarships for all our programs, including karate training, our empowerment self-defense workshops and courses, and our camps for kids. We also run an Adapted Seido Karate program for children with disabilities.
Every year, we hold a Spirit Challenge fundraiser to support this important work - thank you for your generous donations!
