$265 towards $500

My name is Charles Laszuk, I am 13 years old and I have been training at Thousand Waves Martial Arts & Self-Defense Center in Chicago for 8 years. Honestly, I can't remember a time when Thousand Waves was not in my life. This April, I received my second degree black belt. The training I've received has helped me become the person I am today and i just want to give back to this incredible community. I love how open and kind this dojo is and I hope you can support me support them.

Fund raising will be the week of the May 1st, and your donations will help fund violence prevention programs, provide scholarships for those who can't afford training, and help finance the Adapted Seido Karate (ASK) program, which teaches children with disabilities to defend themselves both physically and verbally, while building strength and self-confidence. Oh yeah, they also have fun.

Thousand Waves (part of the World Seido Karate Organization) empowers everyone who studies here, and welcomes them regardless of racial or ethnic background, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or fitness level.

It would be wonderful it you could press that button and and donate as much as you want or can. Every dollar makes a difference.. Just one donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Thousand Waves. Thank you for your support!
