Thousand Waves plays an important role in my life. It's a space where I've found community and belonging. It allows me to connect with my body and feel strong. It's made an incredible impact on my life. Our annual fundraiser makes this possible for all people who want to train at Thousand Waves. I myself have a been a recipient of scholarship through my time in grad school. Without this scholarship, I would not have been able to continue my training at Thousand Waves, so it's important to me to help meet the goal of $120,000 this year.
Your donation will support all of our not-for-profit work, including scholarships, empowerment self-defense programs, and our Adapted Seido Karate Program for children with disabilities.
