Thank You for Supporting Thousand Waves!

I know I'm not alone when I say I wouldn't be the person I am today if not for the amazing work they do at Thousand Waves. They not only provide an amazing martial arts training, but also have built one of the most loving, supportive, and beautiful communities I have ever had the opportunity to be a part of. I have been training at thousand waves for just over 8 years now and Thousand Waves' influence during such a formative period of my life (which is still ongoing) cannot be overstated. If you can, please consider supporting this organization. They are really struggling during the current pandemic, and have done an incredible amount of work to continue to provide the community with the experience we are used to.

But enough about me, let me try to elaborate on the situation. In 2018 we had just under 400 members, we are now close to 200. This drop in membership, coupled with the extra work that has to go into keeping the dojo operational during the pandemic has resulted in some serious financial struggles. We are a not-for-profit organization, and have a scholarship fund for students who cannot afford tuition but still want to train. These factors mean that the dojo runs on a tightrope normally, and is especially challenged right now. I know everyone is suffering because of the pandemic, and if it's too much to ask, I understand, but please, please consider donating to help keep this incredible organization operational. It would mean a ton to everyone, especially me.
